Team selector: Pick your England T20I XI to face South Africa

Team Selector: Pick your England side for the T20Is against South Africa. Choose your team and share it with your friends.

England’s three-match T20I series against South Africa gets underway later this month. Here’s your chance become a selector and pick the side you think England should put out as they shore up their preparations for next year’s T20 World Cup.

South Africa hosted England last winter, and the tourists performed well, winning both the Test and T20I series and drawing the ODI series.

England’s squad looks to be at full-strength for the three T20Is, including nine of the 10 internationals that played in the recently concluded IPL. KKR batsman Tom Banton is a reserve for the series.

With plenty of sparkling batting options, England’s greatest conundrum appears to be centred around from where their ball-strikers should be unleashed. Does Jos Buttler continue to open or should he be the finisher that England sorely need? Will Dawid Malan, the No.1 T20 batsman in the world, keep hold of his spot at No.3? After a sparkling 107 not out for Rajasthan Royals against Mumbai Indians, where does Ben Stokes – who has a modest T20I record – fit?

Furthermore, with IPL MVP Archer a shoo-in, which England pacemen will join him in the XI?

It’s time to make your calls – pick your England side for the series and share it with your friends.
