The series is England’s first taste of ODI cricket since losing 2-1 to Australia in September – their first home ODI series defeat in five years. Eoin Morgan’s side will want to bounce back in style against a team fifth in the ODI rankings.

The world champions can call upon a strong squad, although key players Jofra Archer and Ben Stokes have been rested. Tom Banton also drops down as a reserve for the series, as Olly Stone, Lewis Gregory, Reece Topley and Liam Livingstone return to the 50-over set-up.
