IPL 2024: Latest news and updates

SRH make it a habit

Three of the four highest IPL totals have now been scored by SRH, all within the last month. They first registered the then-highest IPL total of 277 against MI, before breaking their own record to score 287 against RCB. In their very next game, they again breached the 260-mark, finishing with 266 against DC.

Sunil Narine turns back the clock

Narine registered his highest T20 score, blasting 85 off 39 balls against Delhi Capitals, before breaking his own record a few days later to score his maiden T20 hundred, against Rajasthan Royals at the Eden Gardens. Coming into IPL 2024, Narine had scored 44 runs from 10 outings with the bat in T20 cricket this year. The move back up to the top has worked wonders for him and KKR as his 2017-18 days seem to be back.

LSG unleash Mayank Yadav

The 21-year-old fast bowler from Delhi clocked speeds of 155 kph on IPL debut in the LSG vs PBKS match on Saturday (March 30), sending the cricket world in a frenzy. He returned figures of 3-27 from four overs, taking LSG to victory.

Rishabh Pant plays 100th IPL match

After his return to professional cricket following his horror-car crash at the end of 2022, Rishabh Pant celebrated another milestone on Thursday (March 28). He was presented with a special jersey before his 100th game in the tournament, having played his whole career at Delhi.
