West Indies will host India for two Test matches as both teams tee off their 2023-25 World Test Championship campaigns. Here is the list of WI vs IND 2023 commentators, including broadcasters and presenters.

The West Indies will host India for two Test matches, at the Windsor Park in Roseau, Dominica, from July 12, and at the Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago, from July 16.

Both sides are undergoing transition at this point. India have left Cheteshwar Pujara out of the squad, and are set to use Shubman Gill at No.3 following an indifferent run as opener. To pair Rohit Sharma at the top, India are set to give out a Test cap to Yashasvi Jaiswal.

India are also trying to zero in on Rishabh Pant’s replacement until he is fit again. Whether they grant KS Bharat against a side other than world champions Australia or use Ishan Kishan is to be seen.

Apart from Jaiswal and Kishan, the squad includes two other uncapped cricketers, top-order batter Ruturaj Gaikwad and seam bowler Mukesh Kumar.

In 2023, the West Indies will not be part of the World Cup for the first time in history: they finished fifth out of ten teams in the recent ICC World Cup Qualifier held in Zimbabwe.

Their ascent begins against India, albeit in a format in which they have not beaten them in 21 years. Their top order will consist of youngsters like Tagenarine Chanderpaul, who debuted less than a year ago, and the uncapped Alick Athanaze and Kirk McKenzie.

The commentary panel for the Test series includes Ishant Sharma, who, despite being the joint second-most wicket-taker in Test cricket among Indian fast bowlers, has not played Test cricket since 2021. He will share the microphone with former new-ball partner Zaheer Khan.

The panel also includes Abhinav Mukund, who debuted in Kingston in 2011; Wasim Jaffer, who made a double hundred in St John’s in 2006; Aakash Chopra; and Saba Karim.
