The eight-team women’s cricket competition at the Asian Games 2023 has commenced. Here is all you need to know about the live-streaming details and TV channels to watch Asian Games 2023 women’s T20Is live at the 2023 Hangzhou Games.

The women’s event is being played in the T20I format between September 19 and 25. Zhejiang University of Technology Pingfeng Cricket Field in Hangzhou, China is the host venue for all the clashes. Eight teams will compete for the gold, silver, and bronze medals. Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka have directly qualified for the quarter-finals based on their superior T20I Rankings as of June 1, 2023.

Pakistan have won both gold medals in the women’s category, at Guangzhou in 2010 and at Incheon in 2014. There was no cricket at Jakarta-Palembang 2018.

Among the ICC Full Members, Afghanistan are the only nation without a team at the women’s competition, though their men are among the 15 teams at the Asiad.

The Hangzhou Games marks the debut of the Indian women and men). In the quarter-final, they made 173-2 in 15 overs and the match was called off after Malaysia were 1-0 after two balls. India qualified based on their superior seeding, as did Pakistan after their match against Indonesia was washed out completely.

India have sent a 19-member squad, headed by Harmanpreet Kaur, who missed the quarter-final and will miss the semi-final as part of her two-match ban after she breached ICC’s Code of Conduct on two separate counts in an ODI against Bangladesh on July 24. Smriti Mandhana is leading the side in her absence.
