IND vs PAK, Day 2: Live updates

Babar goes! Pandya this time, and the world’s No.1 batter has no answer to a scorching inswinger. This game is swinging India’s way pretty fast.

Bumrah strikes! Imam-ul-Haq succumbs to Bumrah, nicking one behind. Early wicket, big wicket for India.

Pakistan need 357 to win this one.

Kohli scores his 47th ODI ton! He scores his seventh international hundred since September 2022, and his fifth this year.

Rahul scores sixth ODI hundred! He takes 100 balls for his first ton in the format since 2021.

Rahul scores 2,000 ODI runs! He takes only 53 innings for the feat, the joint third-fastest for India after Shikhar Dhawan (48), Navjot Sidhu-Sourav Ganguly (52) and Kohli (53).

Fifty for Kohli! His 66th in the format. These two have things right in control.

Drinks break! India are coasting along, currently at 237-2.

Is rain making a re-entry? The groundstaff – orange brigade as the commentators call them – are lurking around the boundary ropes.

Fifty for KL Rahul! What an innings on comeback. Looked in complete control, dominating against spinners. And that incredible shot – a wristy lofted flick off Shadab Khan – will be spoken about for days.

Haris Rauf won’t be bowling today because of a side injury. Currently, Mohammad Haris is fielding in his place. The real question is – who bowls his remaining quota of five overs?

IND 150-2: KL Rahul and Virat Kohli, resuming batting duties on Day 2, take India past 150, as players ease back into their roles post the rain delay.

Welcome back to Colombo, for Day 2 of the action. Most of the first day was spent in a see-saw battle with the rain, which forced the game into a reserve day.
