The two-week long 10-team event, staged in Abu Dhabi, has reached its climax. Scotland and Sri Lanka set to play the final on May 7. Both have already qualified for the upcoming Women’s T20 World Cup in Bangladesh later this year after qualifying for the final of the Qualifier.
Scotland will enter the match on the back of their eight-wicket victory against Ireland in the semi-finals, courtesy of Kathryn Bryce’s 29-ball 35 not out and 4-8. Bryce, who has had an excellent all-round campaign – she is the third-highest run-getter (177 at 88.50) and second-highest wicket-taker (9) – so far, is one of the players to watch out for in the all-important clash on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Sri Lanka beat UAE despite Esha Oza’s valiant performance (66 in 44 balls, 2-27) in the second semi-final.

The Women’s T20 World Cup will begin on October 3, with the final on October 20. The winners of the Qualifiers will be placed in Group 1 along with Australia, India, New Zealand and Pakistan while the runners-up will be in Group B with Bangladesh, England, South Africa and West Indies.
