The 2023 Tamil Nadu Premier League starts on June 12: here is where you can watch TNPL 2023, along with all the TV and live-streaming details of the tournament.

TNPL 2023: When will the tournament be played?

TNPL 2023 will be played from June 12 to July 12, 2023, between eight teams and across four venues in Tamil Nadu. In the previous edition, the trophy was shared between Chepauk Super Gillies and Lyca Kovai Kings as the final of TNPL 2022 was abandoned due to rain.

The Super Gillies are the most successful team in the tournament’s history, having won the TNPL thrice, excluding 2022, where they shared the trophy, and including 2021. They will be looking to extend their streak to three consecutive titles in three years this season.

TNPL 2023: Squads

TNPL 2023 will see several international players participate, along with loads of local talent. Sai Sudharsan, who shot to fame with his blistering 96 in the IPL 2023 final, will feature for the Lyca Kovai Kings, while his Gujarat Titans teammate Vijay Shankar will play for the iDream Tiruppur Tamizhans. Washington Sundar will also be in action for the Siechem Madurai Panthers.

TNPL 2023: Format and schedule

Much like the format of the IPL, TNPL 2023 will see a league stage where the eight teams will play each other in a round-robin format followed by playoffs.

The playoffs will include Qualifier 1, between the top two teams; Eliminator, between teams that finished third and fourth; Qualifier 2, between the loser of Qualifier 1 and the winner of Eliminator; and the final, between the winners of the two Qualifiers.

The four venues where the tournament will be played are Coimbatore, Dindigul, Salem, and Tirunelveli.
