Watch: Harry Brook, playing for the second time in the IPL, fell to a trap laid by Ravi Bishnoi – playing out three googlies before being outfoxed by a conventional leg-spinner.

Brook, one of the most sought-after youngsters in world cricket, is yet to get going in the IPL. In his first innings, he fell after a scratchy 21-ball 13. In his second game, against Lucknow Super Giants, he came in at the fall of skipper Aiden Markram’s wicket, but fell off his fourth ball, leaving SRH at 55-4.

It was a classic set-up by Bishnoi. He pushed Brook back into his crease with his first three balls – all googlies. Off the fourth ball, Brook came out of the crease, anticipating that the ball would turn in again. However, Bishnoi dragged his length back and got the ball to straighten just enough. Brook had nowhere to go – Nicholas Pooran flicked off the bails to send him off.

Sunrisers just could not get going after that. They finished on 121-8 in 20 overs, with only four batters managing double figures. Bishnoi was the most economical of the lot, ending with figures of 4-0-16-1.
