Contrary to the IPL 2022 auction that was a mega auction spread across two days, this will be a mini auction to fill 87 slots. A total of 405 players will go under the hammer, among which are 273 Indian players and 132 overseas players.
The team representatives have assembled in Kochi’s Grand Hyatt Hotel, where the auction will begin from 2.30pm IST.
With the IPL media rights split this time, the Indian Premier League will be shown on separate platforms on TV and mobile in India. The Star Sports Network has the television rights to the tournament, while Viacom18 has the digital rights.
