IPL auction 2023: Date and time

The IPL auction 2023 will be held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Kochi. Contrary to the IPL auction 2022, this will be a mini-auction, with the action likely to go on for only half a day.

Team representatives will be present at the auction venue; however, a number of high-profile overseas staff members are likely to be absent, owing to the holiday season. Chennai Super Kings CEO Kasi Viswanath, for instance, clarified that head coach Stephen Fleming will be absent for this season’s auction, owing to Christmas.
