Watch: Pakistan speedster Shaheen Afridi, who picked up 3-31 against India, including the wickets of Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, and Virat Kohli, in a T20 World Cup clash on October 24, was seen enacting the dismissals of the three players at the demand of the crowd.
Fielding near the boundary rope during the game between Pakistan and Scotland, the crowd started chanting the names of the three India players whom Afridi had dismissed earlier in the tournament. They first shouted Rohit Sharma’s name, and the quick imitated how he trapped the opener LBW with an inswinging yorker, after which the spectators wanted to see how KL Rahul had been dismissed. Afridi proceeded to show how he sent the player packing with a delivery that seamed in.
Next up, the crowds urged Afridi to show how Virat Kohli had been dismissed in the match against Pakistan. The India skipper had been caught out behind on a short ball, which he managed to edge behind to the keeper Mohammad Rizwan.
Pakistan had won the game by 10 wickets, which was also their first-ever win against India in any World Cup. The Men in Green are the only unbeaten side in the T20 World Cup thus far.
