by Wisden Staff 2 minute read

Sri Lanka are touring South Africa for three T20Is and three ODIs. Here is the SA vs SL Women squads and schedule, including full team lists, fixtures and match timings.

Between March 27 and April 17, Sri Lanka Women will play three T20Is and three ODIs in South Africa. The tour will begin with the T20Is, at Benoni, Potchefstroom, and East London.

These will be followed by the ODIs, at East London, Kimberley, and Potchefstroom. The ODIs will be part of the 2022-25 ICC Women’s Championship.

The two teams have met in 18 decided ODIs, of which South Africa have won 14 and Sri Lanka four. On South African soil, the equation reads 6-1 in the hosts’ favour. In T20Is, South Africa hold a 10-4 lead, including 5-2 on home soil.

Since the lockdown, however, the two teams have met only twice, both in T20Is. South Africa won by 10 wickets in the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games, but Sri Lanka pulled off a three-run win in the 2023 T20 World Cup at Cape Town.
