Watch: West Indies Test debutant, Kevin Sinclair, showed off some impressive gymnastics after taking his first wicket in the second match of the series against Australia, launching into a somersault followed by a backflip after dismissing Usman Khawaja.

On a fast-paced second day in Brisbane, Australia found themselves 24-4 at Dinner having bowled the West Indies out for 311. Sinclair had earlier reached a half-century on debut, counter-attacking at the end of the innings to reach his 50 with a six off Nathan Lyon. He was out off Lyon’s following delivery, but continued his stellar first Test with a stunning catch at fourth slip to dismiss Marnus Labuschagne.

After the Dinner break, Australia’s problems deepened when Mitchell Marsh was out to leave them 54-5, and Sinclair was brought on to bowl his off-breaks. He had a torrid time initially, however, with Alex Carey hitting him for three fours in his opening over. Carey continued to attack him, hitting another four and a six before Sinclair was taken off after three overs having conceded 30 runs.

With Australia seven down and Usman Khawaja still at the crease with Pat Cummins, Sinclair was brought back on. He came in for similar brutal treatment, hit for four boundaries in the space of three overs before he finally made the breakthrough.

Bowling around the wicket to the left-handed Khawaja, he floated the ball up and found some grip off the pitch, taking Khawaja’s outside edge. Alick Athanaze took a comfortable catch at first slip to give Sinclair his first Test wicket.

Before embracing his teammates, Sinclair launched into an impressive set of gymnastics. He first executed a perfect somersault, before leaping into a backflip without pausing. He finished the sequence with a fist-pump, seemingly letting out pent up frustration.
