SL vs IND, Asia Cup 2023: Team news

India outplayed Pakistan in the Super Four, defeating them by 228 runs. The game, which began on September 10, went into the reserve day, scheduled for September 11. It means India will take the field on three successive days, and they could rest a few players in order to manage the workload ahead of the World Cup. Mohammed Shami could come in for Shardul Thakur to give him an opportunity.

Sri Lanka, on the other hand, are likely to go in unchanged. They have 13 wins on the trot, the second-highest among all men’s international teams in ODIs. Kusal Mendis and Sadeera Samarawickrama have made two fifties in as many games, while Matheesha Pathirana is the second-highest wicket-taker in the competition, picking up eight scalps in three games.
