Watch: Known as the Burewala Express for his extreme pace and accuracy, Waqar Younis bowled off-spin once in his career, in an exhibition match against Australia in 1994.

The 15-over per-side game was organised after the eighth match of the 1994 triangular series in Pakistan was abandoned due to a water-logged pitch. Pakistan won the game by four wickets, much to the amusement of the home crowd in Gujranwala.

The Pakistan fans assembled in the stadium not only watched their side win, but witnessed the unusual incident of Waqar Younis bowling off-spin. The pace bowler was seen turning to spin against Michael Bevan, who didn’t seem fazed in the slightest and stuck to his aggressive approach.
