Highlights: Sachin Tendulkar smashes 37-ball 60, replete with his trademark strokes
Watch: Sachin Tendulkar was in his element playing for India Legends against South Africa Legends in the Road Safety World Series smashing a 37-ball 60 and unfurling some of his trademark shots in the process
Tendulkar started the innings with two cracking boundaries off Makhaya Ntini in the opening over – a back-foot punch through cover and a dreamy straight drive off the very next ball. By the end of the powerplay, Tendulkar had made 19 off 15, but the best was yet to come.
In the 12th over of the innings, Tendulkar hit two fours and a six off Thandi Tshabalala, whose most memorable moment in a short international career came when he cleaned up Tendulkar, on 93, in Belfast in 2007.
He was dismissed caught by Tshabalala for 60, but not before he had set up a good platform that Yuvraj Singh capitalised on emphatically.
