IPL 2022, the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League, will see ten teams feature from March 26 to May 29, 2022: here’s where you can watch the T20 tournament live, including TV channel details, live streaming options, and broadcast schedule.

This year’s IPL will feature two new teams – Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants – alongside the eight existing teams.

The tournament will be played in two cities – Mumbai and Pune – and across four stadium venues: Wankhede (Mumbai), DY Patil (Navi Mumbai), Brabourne (Mumbai), and MCA International (Pune).


IPL 2022: Schedule & format

The ten teams will play in two groups of five. Each team will play 14 games.

Group A: Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals, Lucknow Super Giants

Group B: Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings, Gujarat Titans

Chennai Super Kings will take on Kolkata Knight Riders in the first match on March 26.

IPL 2022, where to watch: TV channels and live streaming details

IPL 2022 will be available to watch worldwide beginning March 26. The following are the country-wise telecast details:


Star Sports are the official broadcasters of the league in India. A list of 85 commentators will be part of the broadcasting pool.

TV channels: Star Sports 1, Star Sports 1HD, Star Sports 2, Star Sports 2HD, Star Sports 1 Hindi, Star Sports 1 Hindi HD, Star Sports Hindi, Star Sports Select 1, Star Sports Select 1HD, Star Gold, Star Gold HD, Star Sports 1 Tamil, Star Sports Telugu

Live streaming: Disney+Hotstar app will be streaming the games live.


In the United Kingdom, matches can be streamed live on Sky Sports Cricket (Channel 404), with the feed starting at 1.50pm UK time.


In Australia, IPL 2022 games will be telecast on Fox Cricket – Channel 505, with the feed beginning at 5am. It will also be live streamed on Kayo.
