The T10 league has been licensed by the Emirates Cricket Board. It is the only 10-over cricket tournament sanctioned by the ICC. Over the years, many prominent players have featured in the league. This will be the fifth season of the T10 league. The games comprise two innings of ten overs each.

The league will feature six teams, and prominent T20 players from around the globe will play in the tournament. This season will feature several veteran players like Shahid Afridi, Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo, Jason Roy, Eoin Morgan, Imran Tahir, Faf du Plessis, and Andre Russell. The league will also feature some exciting young talent like Wanindu Hasaranga, Nicholas Pooran, and Curtis Campher.

The T10 league will be played over a period of 16 days in a round-robin format. It will end with two qualifiers and eliminators on December 3, before the final is played out on December 4.

On August 16, it was announced that Viacom18 won the exclusive TV and digital rights for the Abu Dhabi T10 league for India. The league will have 34 games of 90-minute cricketing entertainment which will be broadcast around the world.
