The draft for the 2024 Hundred was held on Wednesday (March 20) and here’s the full list of men and women players bought.

Ahead of the draft, every team in The Hundred confirmed their retentions. While the women’s team could retain eight members of their 2023 squad, the men’s team could keep a maximum of 10 players on their side along with one centrally contracted England player.

Several big names went unpicked in the draft. Babar Azam, Jason Roy, David Warner and Harmanpreet Kaur were some players who were snubbed. Mark Wood, Jemimah Rodrigues and Deepti Sharma, who recently became the first woman to pick up a hattrick and score a fifty in the same T20 game, were also overlooked.

Nicholas Pooran was the first pick in the draft, going to Northern Superchargers in the first round. Andre Russell, Shimron Hetmyer (both London Spirit), Rovman Powell (Trent Rockets) and Kieron Pollard (Southern Brave) were some of the other West Indies stars who were roped in.
