Dagar, who walked out to bat in the 16th over of the innings following the dismissal of Dinesh Karthik was out for a duck after a direct throw from Nicholas Pooran left him stranded and on the ground in the middle of the field.
Mahipal Lomror was on strike for the first ball of the 17th over, sent down by Yash Thakur. The batter tried to go for a big hit but only ended up slicing it to long-off, towards Pooran. The ball, however, fell short and Lomror survived as the two batters completed a single.
Dagar was eager for a second and ran down the pitch before being sent back by Lomror, who was batting on 33 off 12 at the time. Dagar slipped and fell face down as he looked to turn back, during which time Pooran scored a direct throw at the keeper’s end, which ran out Dagar for a first-ball duck.
Chasing 182 for a win, RCB were all out for 153 and have now lost their third game of the season in four outings.
