Following the conclusion of the T20I series, Zimbabwe will host Ireland for three ODI fixtures in January – here is the full fixtures list and match timings for ZIM vs IRE.

The two sides are ranked 11th and 13th in the ICC team rankings table, with both having lost their previous two series; Ireland to New Zealand and Zimbabwe to India. The last time they met was in Ireland in 2021 where the honours were shared with scoreline 1-1 at the end of the bilateral series. All three matches will be played at Harare Sports Club which was also the host venue for the T20I series.

Andrew Balbirnie will captain the Ireland side, with Lorcan Tucker rejoining the squad for the ODI series after missing the T20I series to play in the ILT20. Gary Ballance was set to appear for Zimbabwe after signing a deal to play for his country of birth, but suffered a concussion in the first T20I which throws his participation in the series into doubt.
