ENG vs ZIM U19 World Cup highlights: 17-year-old spinner Tazeem Chaudry Ali picked up 7-29  to help England beat Zimbabwe in a Super Six match and finish their campaign on a high.

After being sent in to bat, England were in a spot of bother, losing half of their side for just 116 runs in the 26th over. Zimbabwe’s sharp fielding restricted England’s scoring, including the controversial dismissal of Hamza Shaikh. Shaikh was declared out obstructing the field when he picked up the ball while it was still in play.

Charlie Allison and Haydon Mustard stitched together a vital partnership from there on to ensure England finished at 237-7. Allison scored a 109-ball 76, while Mustard finished with 41 off 47. Apart from them, opener Theo Wylie contributed with 61 (70).

Zimbabwe’s chase was derailed by the sensational Ali, who struck first in the 15th over, reducing them to 51-4. From there on, Ali annihilated the remaining batting line-up, picking up all the remaining six wickets. Zimbabwe were skittled out for 91, handing England a 146-run victory. Ali was named the Player of the Match for his match-winning figures of 7.5-1-29-7, helping England to sign off their campaign on a high.
