Six teams – Ireland, Scotland, Papua New Guinea, Oman, Namibia and Netherlands, who made it through via the T20 World Cup Qualifier in 2019, will feature alongside Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, who did not automatically qualify.
Matches will be held in Muscat and Abu Dhabi.

The top two teams from each group will go to the Super 12.
