Watch: Despite being wrong-footed, wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan took an excellent forward-diving catch to dismiss Dean Elgar on day three of the Karachi Test between Pakistan and South Africa.
In an attempt to sweep Yasir Shah, the Proteas opener gloved the ball high in the air. The ball lobbed up in the air, and seemed like it would land where a silly point would traditionally be.
However, Rizwan, who had already taken a couple of steps to his right, quickly adjusted his footing to dive for the ball. The Pakistan keeper dived full stretch ahead of the stumps, completing the catch very close to the ground.
It was a crucial wicket for the hosts, coming in the 17th over of the third innings.
Only two days earlier, Rizwan had pulled off a fantastic run-out to dismiss Rassie van der Dussen.
