Watch: Pakistan quick Shaheen Shah Afridi got the better of David Warner with a reversing beauty, and then proceeded to shake hands with him, extending the display of camaraderie between the two players.

During the morning session of the fourth day of the Lahore Test, Shaheen’s reverse-swinging delivery got the better of Warner’s forward defense, sneaking past his bat and rattling the off-stump. This dismissal occurred in the 29th over of Australia innings, leaving the tourists at 96-1.

Waqar Younis, on-air, went, “Wow! Now that’s a delivery, you beauty! Just pitched outside the off-stump and straightened. We saw it yesterday, the Australians did it. And what about Afridi, magnificent delivery.”

The series has been hailed for being played in good spirit, which continued to be the case after Warner was dismissed. The duo, who had engaged in a playful banter yesterday, shook hands as they appreciated each other’s effort.

Co-commentator Simon Katich added: “[Afridi] Says well played to David Warner. In good spirit.”
