At the Ireland Inter-Provincial T20 Trophy, four domestic sides will face each other in three cricket festivals across the summer. It is the premier T20 tournament in the country.

The first festival is currently taking place in Cork. North West Warriors and Northern Knights are topping the table, having won their respective two games.

In the opening games, the Knights have cemented two memorable encounters for very different reasons. They won their first game after posting a huge 236-3 thanks to 79 off 26 for Neil Rock.

The second turned heads for non-cricketing reasons, as it was halted for two hours due to a swarm of bees.

After the Cork Festival, the two other legs of the tournament will take place in Bready, from July 14 to 16, and at Dublin, from August 1 to 3.
