The final auction list for the IPL 2024 auction has been announced. Here are the five youngest players in the IPL 2024 auction list.

A total of 333 players will go under the hammer on December 19 as ten teams will battle it out to come up with the most complete squad possible. 77 spots are up for grabs, with a maximum of 30 overseas slots available.
The players have been divided into eight base price slabs, with 23 players in the 2 crore base price category while as many as 206 players in the lowest – the 20 lakh base price category.
The youngest of the 333 players in the IPL 2024 auction list is aged 17, while the oldest is aged 39.

Kwena Maphaka (South Africa) – Age: 17
Born in Johannesburg, the left-arm seamer is the youngest player in the IPL 2024 auction list. He made his first-class debut in Pallekele earlier this year, playing for South Africa A. From two first-class games, Maphaka has taken seven wickets at 27.71, while form five senior T20 games, he has taken six wickets at a miserly economy of 6.94.

Allah Ghazanfar (Afghanistan) – Age: 18
Ghazanfar is the latest spin sensation to emerge from Afghanistan’s production line of spinners. While there’s some discrepancy about his age, according to his date of birth on the IPL auction list, he happens to be the second-youngest player who’ll be auctioned off on December 19. He had registered for last year’s IPL auction as well, and was the youngest in that group.
Avanish Rao Aravelly (India) – Age: 18
Avanish Rao Aravelly is a left-handed wicketkeeper-batter who is currently part of the India Under-19 squad at the Under-19 Asia Cup. He has also been selected for the 2024 men’s Under-19 World Cup to be held in South Africa.

Swastik Chhikara (India) – Age: 19
The 18-year-old right-hand batter hailing from Uttar Pradesh has already played six List A games for his state side, scoring 200 runs at an impressive strike rate of 109.28. In fact, he scored a hundred on his state debut, smashing 117 off 101 balls against Himachal Pradesh while opening the innings.
Musheer Khan (India) – Age: 19
Musheer Khan is the brother of Sarfaraz Khan, the Mumbai stalwart who has been lighting up Indian first-class cricket over the last few years. Musheer bats right handed and bowls left-arm orthodox. He has been named in the India squad for the 2024 Under-19 World Cup as well.
