A final round of tickets for the knockout games of the 2023 World Cup will be released by the BCCI. Here is all you need to know about when and where to book the online tickets for the semi-finals and the final of the World Cup.

As the 2023 World Cup nears the conclusion of its league stage, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced that they would be releasing a final batch of online tickets for the two semi-finals and the final.

World Cup 2023: Semi-finals and final schedule

The two semi-finals will be played in Mumbai and Kolkata. The first one will be held at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on November 15 (Thursday), while the second one will be played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on November 16 (Friday).

With South Africa and Australia certain to finish on second and third on the points table or vice-versa, the line-up for one of the semi-final is confirmed. However, whether they will play the first semi-final in Mumbai or the second in Kolkata will depend on who the fourth qualifying team is.

If Pakistan qualifies for the semi-final as the fourth team, then they will face India in the second semi-final in Kolkata on November 16. If New Zealand or Afghanistan qualify, they will face India in the first semi-final in Mumbai on November 15.

The final will then be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on November 19 (Sunday).

World Cup 2023: When and where to get online tickets for knockouts?

BCCI will release a final batch of online tickets for the two semi-finals and the final today (November 9).

The tickets will go live at 8pm Indian Standard Time on the BookMyShow website and app, where all the tickets for the World Cup have been sold so far.

This will be final batch of tickets to be sold by BCCI, meaning it will be the last chance to grab a seat for the World Cup knockouts. Given how the previous ticket sales have panned out, expect the tickets released in this batch to be sold out in minutes.
