Australia’s recent T20I series against West Indies ended in a 4-1 defeat. Bangladesh, on the other hand, won their last T20I series against Zimbabwe 3-1 in July. The two teams will play five T20Is across one week, with all matches set to be played in Dhaka.

It will be the first time Bangladesh will take on Australia in a bilateral T20I series, with the last clash between the two teams going as far back as the 2016 T20 World Cup.
