Tevin Imlach is a talented right-handed wicketkeeper batter from West Indies who has a lot of potential to make it big and his domestic record speaks for itself. He was a geek for cricket from his childhood and was also part of the West Indies squad in the U-19 World Cup where he played with the likes of Shimron Hetmyer, Alzarri Joseph, and Keemo Paul who are now mainstays of the senior Windies team. He made his first-class debut in 2018 for Guyana and played his first List-A game in the same year. However, his breakthrough season came in 2022, when he was a crucial member of Guyana in their victorious 4-day campaign. Imlach also scored his maiden first-class hundred, an unbeaten 136 against a quality Jamaican side. He followed it up by racking up 237 runs in the 2022-23 season and not only that, but he was also the top scorer for Guyana in the Super50 tournament with 268 runs.
Alongside his prowess with the bat, he also has safe hands behind the wickets which gives him a slight edge over other exclusive batters. He has also been drafted by Guyana for the Caribbean T20 League 2023 which is a great platform for him to showcase his immense talent. Imlach has a lot of quality and is knocking on the doors of national selection which doesn't look that far away.
