Biography
Nicknamed "Fox", Peter Forrest shifted quarters from New South Wales to Queensland for expansive cricketing opportunities. A burly rugby player, he made his first-class debut against Queensland in 2007 and played a decent knock of 40 in the middle order. Peter was also signed on to play in the Lancashire League for Nelson Cricket Club in 2010.
After leading the run charts in the first half of the 2011/12 Sheffield Shield season, Forrest was on-form drafted into the ODI squad for Australia to play in the Tri-series against India and Sri Lanka. He had an impressive debut against India, smashing his maiden fifty. Furthermore, in only his fourth ODI, Forrest notched up his first international ton.
