Mohammed Nazimuddin Ahmed or Nazimuddin as he is better known as is a Bangladeshi cricketer who made his first-class debut in the 2001-02 season at a very young age of 16 years. A right handed batsman, he plays for the Chittagong division.
It was finally in the 2007-08 season that he first played an international match. It was a T20I against Kenya in a four-nation tournament between Bangladesh, Kenya, Uganda and Pakistan. He went on to score a 37-ball 43 and guided his team to a win. In fact he went one better in the second T20 match he played in, hitting a massive 81 off only 50 deliveries, against a Pakistani attack that consisted of Shoaib Akhtar, Mohammad Asif, Yasir Arafat, and Shahid Afridi. It was on the basis of these performances that he was chosen for the World Twenty20 in South Africa, but failed to make an impression, scoring only 12 runs in four matches. He soon made his ODI debut in the home series against South Africa but failed to make a mark in the two matches that he played in.
