Biography
An Australian cricketer who plays for Queensland in the domestic circuit, Nathan Rimmington made his first-class debut in 2005-06 when Michael Kasprowicz was re-launched into the Test squad. He became the first player to take a hat-trick in both, the 50-over as well as the 20-over format in 2007. He achieved this feat against Western Australia. After struggling with injury at the start of that summer, he got three more Pura Cup chances and an ING Cup debut, taking a total of three victims.
The 2007-08 summer was a write-off due to a serious hip problem - the bone was shaved during surgery - and he was forced into a long rehabilitation. A Man-of-the-Match performance of 4 for 40 in the Ford Ranger Cup Final of 2008-09 ensured an eighth one-day title for Queensland. In 2011, he was signed for the fourth IPL season by the Kings XI Punjab. The following year, Perth Scorchers signed him ahead of the 2012 Champions League T20.
