He came to attention after scoring two centuries in first-class cricket. 134 against Saurashtra and 134 against Gujarat in 8 matches of the 2023 domestic season. He was known for his hard-hitting and finishing innings for Punjab in their maiden Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy win. Naman will now feature in the 2024 season of the Indian Premier League after the Mumbai franchise picked him up in the auction.
