Kuthethurshri Vasudevadas is a left-handed batsman and a right-arm leg break bowler. First picked for India Under-15 team for the World Cup in England, he was impressive with the bat as well as the ball.

A 98 against touring England A squad in 2003-04 marked the start of his first-class career as a Tamil Nadu cricketer. Later, a string of good scores including a century against Saurashtra, 93 against Punjab and 99 against Mumbai confirmed him as a top-order batsman.

Chennai Super Kings signed the local Tamilian for the 2011 season which marked his debut in IPL.
