Biography
Hasan Raza, like many other young Pakistani cricketers played his first international game at the mere age of 14. He made his Test debut against Zimbabwe in 1996 and seven days later made his ODI debut.
Raza performed well at the early stages but then he was slow on the uptake and was sent back to the domestic platform to regain some form. After some good performances for Pakistan A, he was given another chance against Australia in 2002-03. Two slow innings and two unsuccessful Test matches against Zimbabwe led to his departure again. He was known for his timing of the ball but he just could not capitalize it at the international stage even though he is a very prolific first-class. He had his moments with List A cricket as he led the Pakistan A team to victory in the EurAsia Cup in Abu Dhabi in 2006.
