Biography
Andrew Gale is a promising left-handed batsman for Yorkshire who made his debut for his county in 2004. Interested in cricket since his childhood, he first played for Gomersal Cricket Club at the age of eight. A consistent face in Under-15 to Under-19 sides, Gale became a chief contributor with the bat for Yorkshire.
Once Anthony McGrath stepped down as the skipper of Yorkshire, Gale was handed the command of the side and his performance as a leader has been impressive. He led his side to the final of the Twenty20 League, 2012 but they failed to win the ultimate glory. However, they received a chance to play in the qualifiers of the Champions League T20 that year.
