Biography

Aiden Blizzard is an aggressive left-handed batsman from Australia and also represents the South Australian side in domestic cricket. He is nicknamed “Blizz” owing to his surname.

Blizzard’s Twenty20 career for Victoria started off in 2007 with a blistering knock of 89 runs in 38 balls on debut, where his half-century came in just 23 balls. The Adelaide Oval witnessed one of the hardest and cleanest hitting from a rookie-contracted player. His continuous Twenty20 form in the domestic circuit impressed South Australia who then signed him for the 2010-11 season. Blizzard, who toured India and Sri Lanka in 2004 with the Academy, played in the Bangladesh domestic competition in 2010 before representing the Marylebone Cricket Club.

He was bought by the IPL team Mumbai Indians in 2011 for its fourth season.
