That's it from this game and this series! It was 1-1 in the T20Is and it is South Africa who take the ODI series, 2-1. We hope you enjoyed our company. Until next time, goodbye and take care!

Lizaad Williams, MAN OF THE SERIES, he says he's pleased with how he performed. Reckons the ball coming back in was much more useful on such surfaces. Adds the wicket is slower during the day time. Credits the way Ireland played. Ends by saying he enjoyed bowling in this series.

Paul Stirling, MAN OF THE MATCH, says he's pleased with the win. It's good to get some runs. Reckons the conditions were better to bat earlier on and it quickened up as the game went ahead. Mentions they wanted to win this game and he's happy they could do so.

In the second half, the Irish overs made excellent use of the new ball. They for three wickets in no time and pushed the visitors onto the back foot. Tristan Stubbs and Kyle Verreynne then tried to steady things but once that stand was broken, it seemed impossible. Jason Smith though batted brilliantly. He was unfortunate to miss out on a ton but he got his side believing again after they were in a hopeless situation. It was too much to do though in the end and they fell well short.

Ireland avoid the whitewash! A thumping win for them to end the series. The story continues, it is yet again the side batting first which gets over the line. Courtesy Stirling and Tector, Ireland got themselves to a competitive total. It was Stirling who laid the foundation and Tector who provided the much-needed finish.

      Graham Hume to Lungi Ngidi

OUT! GONE! A yorker, outside off. Ngidi looks to drive it away but gets a thick edge to the keeper who makes no mistake. Ireland avoid whitewash. They win by 69 runs.

Oh! That looks close and Ireland take it upstairs. UltraEdge shows no bat. Ball Tracking shows the impact is outside the line. Tossed up on off, arm ball. Ottneil Baartman looks to defend across but misses on the inside edge. Umpire's call it was.

Length and on off. Ngidi pushes it to point for a single.

Chance! This time much closer. Tossed up outside off. Ngidi looks to cut but outside edge it to short third man where the man dives forward but it falls just short.
