Two Tests down in the series, England need to win all three matches to regain the Ashes. If they cannot, Australia will hold on to the urn until 2025/26, stretching their hold on it beyond a decade. The weather does not look promising, which means that England will have to be even more aggressive if they want to force a result.
Headingley Test – Playing XIs
England announced their XI a day before the Test match. They have replaced James Anderson, Josh Tongue, and the injured Ollie Pope with Chris Woakes, Moeen Ali, and Mark Wood. Harry Brook is likely to bat at No.3.
