Several international stars, who played crucial roles for their team in the ongoing 2024 IPL, have left the tournament to gear up for the T20 World Cup that begins on June 1 in the West Indies and the USA. While some players left earlier in the tournament to be available for their respective countries for bilateral events, others have started departing in the last few days.
Bangladesh recently hosted Zimbabwe for a five-match T20I series, making it one of the many tours that clashed with the IPL. England will also play Pakistan from May 22 while South Africa and West Indies will also play a short series against each other ahead of the T20 World Cup. Cricket West Indies has confirmed their players will be a part of the IPL until their teams exit the league.
