The four-day Cooch Behar Trophy final of the 2023-24 edition will be played between Karnataka Under-19 and Mumbai Under-19. KSCA Navule Stadium at Shimoga in Karnataka will host the encounter between January 12 and January 15.

Mumbai are coming into this all-important fixture on the back of their nine-wicket victory in the semi-final against Uttar Pradesh. After obtaining a 57-run lead in the first innings owing to Ayush Vartak’s 5-54 and Tanish Meher’s 92, Mumbai skittled out UP for 187 in their second innings, thanks to Akash Pawar’s 5-75. An unbeaten 46 from opener Awais Khan and a 55-ball 81 from No.3 batter Nutan Goel helped Mumbai to gun down the required 133 runs in 21.3 overs and reach the final.

Meanwhile, Karnataka too sealed a nine-wicket win in their top-four matchup with Tamil Nadu. Hardik Raj’s 100 off 189 deliveries and Agasthya Raju’s 4-40 and 4-52 in both innings were instrumental in their semi-final triumph. Current India men’s senior team head coach Rahul Dravid’s son Samit will feature in the marquee encounter.

Vidarbha are the defending champions.
