Watch: Virat Kohli has had an up and down relationship with the Dukes ball in England, and there could now be a new chapter, with the India captain unveiling a massive inswinger to nearly dismiss KL Rahul in an intra-squad warm up game.

The No.4 experienced the worst trough of his career in England in 2014, making a top score of 39 in 10 innings, with James Anderson dominating the encounter. But in 2018, he achieved redemption, making two hundreds, averaging nearly 60 and avoiding dismissal by Anderson even once.
Now he’s shown he’s truly mastered the Dukes ball, with a booming inswinger very nearly accounting for the wicket of Rahul in a practice match at Southampton. With his trademark style, seen less often in recent times, Kohli sent down a full ball, which Rahul just managed to dig out up the pitch.
While India have Ravindra Jadeja, R Ashwin, and Hardik Pandya as all-round options in the squad, could it be Kohli who ends up dominating the World Test Championship final with the ball?
