Team Selector: Pick your India XI for the T20I series against New Zealand at Jaipur.

You’re tasked with picking the India XI for the T20Is against the Black Caps. The India side wasn’t able to make it out of the group stage of the T20 World Cup, and returned home after a disappointing campaign. On the other hand, the Kiwis made it to the World Cup finals where they were beaten by Australia.

Beating the Kiwis does seem like a daunting task, let’s see how well you go about selecting your best XI.

India under their new skipper, Rohit Sharma, will look to rebuild for the next T20 World Cup set to be held in Australia in less than a year. Given that some of the India senior players have been rested, opportunity has been given to the likes of Ruturaj Gaikwad, Venkatesh Iyer, Mohammad Siraj, Harshal Patel and Avesh Khan, something to consider in your sports betting strategy as well.

A number of players who did well in the IPL but didn’t make it to the World Cup, have been picked for this series.

Yuzvendra Chahal, the India leg-spinner, who was dropped for the T20 World Cup, could make a comeback into the India line-up. Ravichandran Ashwin and Axar Patel are the other spinners in the squad.

There will be a number of questions before the India team management at the start of the New Zealand T20Is. These will center around the middle-order combination, the all-rounder quandary, and the fast bowlers that India would look to try out for the T20I series.
