The ACC Men’s T20I Challenger Cup will start from January 27. Here’s everything you need to know about the second edition of the Challenger Cup, including the full team lists and injury updates.

The Challenger Cup, organised by the Asian Cricket Council, will get underway on January 27, with Cambodia pitting against Myanmar, and continue until February 11. Unlike the inaugural edition in 2023, which took place in the ODI format, the tournament will be played in the T20I format. Like the previous year, Terdthai Cricket Ground in Bangkok will host the 22-match competition.

Cambodia, China, and Myanmar are slotted in the Qualifier group and are set to feature in three fixtures each. The winner from the group will link up with Bhutan, Indonesia, and Saudi Arabia in Group A, while the remaining two teams will fight for the ninth place in a one-off match.

Meanwhile, Group B constitute Japan, Maldives, Singapore, and Thailand.

The winner will get a ticket to the Asia Cup 2025, while the runners-up will directly qualify for the ACC Men’s Premier Cup 2024, serving as the final stage for the continental showpiece event.

Saudi Arabia are the defending champions owing to their 10-wicket against Bahrain last time around.
