Watch: UAE all-rounder Rohan Mustafa, fielding at the boundary ropes, was caught in the middle of removing his sweater while the ball sped past him for four during an Abu Dhabi T10 League game on Monday.
The incident occurred in the second innings of the Abu Dhabi T10 fixture between Team Abu Dhabi and Northern Warriors on February 1.
Chasing 124 to win in 10 overs, Northern Warriors’ run-chase witnessed a hilarious on-field incident that had fans in splits. Mustafa, fielding for Abu Dhabi, was caught off guard while changing his sweater to bowl the next over and the shirt got stuck inside as the ball was hit in his direction.
Unable to get his hands out of the sweater and shirt in time and jogging towards the ball while still locked inside his jersey, Mustafa could only watch as the ball went past him to the fence.
