RCB were threatening to score 200 batting first against UP Warriorz. Smriti Mandhana hit her highest score in the competition with 80 off 50 balls to put her side well on top. Her partnership with Perry put on 95 runs off 64 balls before Mandhana was out holing out to deep mid-wicket.
Perry took over as the main aggressor once Mandhana was out. She smashed two sixes off consecutive balls from Rajeshwari Gayakwad, slamming the first back over the bowlers head and sending the second over the deep mid-wicket fence. Deepti Sharma came on to bowl the following over, having kept in good control before then with figures of 1-18 off her first three overs.
Perry got to her half century with a four off Sharma’s third ball, skipping down the wicket and sending it straight down the ground. After the dot fourth ball, Perry unleashed her most destructive shot. She shuffled slightly out of her crease to manoeuvre a loopy ball on middle and leg into the leg side, heaving it over deep mid wicket. The ball went straight into the back passenger window of the sponsor car, completely smashing the glass. Ironically, the car is a Tata Punch EV.

Seeing the damage, Perry opened her mouth in shock and put her hand on her head. She was dismissed by Sophie Ecclestone two balls later. RCB went on to post 198-3.
