Watch: Imran Butt reacted quickly to grab a stunning catch at leg slip, as Pakistan broke a resilient seventh-wicket stand between Temba Bavuma and George Linde on day four in Karachi.
The 42-run partnership between Bavuma and Linde was pulling South Africa out of an abyss, but the terrific catch helped Pakistan regain their grip on the game. Nauman Ali, who was targeting the rough outside the off-stump to the left-hander, had a leg slip in place for George Linde for a close bat-pad catch or a top edge off a sweep.
However, a wicket came in the most unexpected manner. A ball from Nauman landed in the rough and in an attempt to drive against the turn, Linde got an inside edge that went low and to the right of debutant Imran Butt at leg slip. He bent low, reacted sharply and grabbed a brilliant catch to put an end to the partnership.
