The 30-year-old, a top-order left-handed batsman who can bowl part-time right-arm medium-pace, replaces Rizwan Haider in the North Staffs and South Cheshire League Premier Division club.
Amin was included in Pakistan’s 2013 Champions Trophy-winning squad, but fell out of favour towards the end of that year. In the four years that followed, he featured in just three games before making a comeback for the limited-overs leg of the tour of New Zealand in early 2018.

He has enjoyed some success in the domestic first-class season, making the top 15 in the run-scoring charts with 612 in 19 innings, including three fifties and a century for Northern Pakistan. He has 8,462 runs from 132 first-class games at 39.35, pitching in with 46 wickets.
Amin previously played club cricket in England back in 2014, in the Birmingham League, two years after turning out for Morecambe in the Northern Premier League.
Checkley finished in sixth place in the top division last season.
